Corleadargan

The existing lakeside thatched dwelling is on an elevated site in Co. Monaghan. The brief was to provide an extension containing a new living/dining/kitchen space, a utility room and a new bedroom with ensuite.

The extension is to the rear of the original building, connected by a link corridor. This contemporary addition, is nestled behind the vernacular thatched and  enjoys full height glazed living spaces, open & covered patio areas with views across the lake. The mature planting on the site, complemented by the new landscaping has resulted in a spectacular home.
